We were having family pictures taken and after our turn was over Ellyn couldn't resist. It was in August so the river wasn't really cold so she was just having the time of her life.

Jeff and Carly, Your little wish for Happy 1st Anniversary got left in Julie Watson's car, all the energy from the Primerica BIG EVENT buried the gift in the back seat. I know you had a fun time. She is going to bring it Wednesday.

Grandma Larson Turns 85

Grandma Larson turning 85. We all went to old Sacramento and had an old fashioned picture taken.

We are in the place where we had it taken, I will have to send all of you a copy of it it is quite revealing in our saloon style/outlaw outfits.

On our way home from Calif. we stopped at this Golden Arches, yes this is what McDonalds used to look like. One of the very first ones never changed it's looks. I can't remember where it is though????

I actually got to touch the moon on the Rio Del Mar Beach near Judy's house.

Nothing like a walk on the Beach with someone you Love, and Kiss when the sun is setting.

The Delta King Riverboat!

FYI: This is the Delta King riverboat, that used to travel the Sacramento river to. When I was a little girl in the single digits, the Delta King sat on the river deteriorating, I remember being fascinated with this boat and it was sad to me to see it in that condition, it was almost like I could feel the memories that were on this boat. It is so nice to see it restored and used now as a restaurant, hotel and wedding reception hall. It is quite fascinating to go on board, it shows all the old pictures of it in use and also the before and after pictures of the restoration. It goes well the restoring of Old Sacrament. Mom

29 Years!

This summer we went to Sacramento for Grandma Larson 85th. This is us in old Sacramento. We went in June, sort of our 29th anniversary celebration.

Best Moments...

There were so many fantastic moments at your wedding here were some of our favorite!

10. The weather was so great! A perfect 10!

9. Your sealer was the sweetest man I have ever met in the Temple. His words were so sensitive and heartfelt, (didn't he keep calling Carly the wrong name,but he kept on plugging along) What a gem!

8. The trees were the perfect color of orange and yellow.

7. The food was fantastic after the sealing, great choice for the post-sealing meal!
6. Taking pictures with everyone on Temple Square was super fun!

5. The wedding colors went so well together, who'd a thought, orange and green, but it totally worked!

4. Hearing Jeff sing his song for Carly was sooo coool!

3. The Reception in Ogden was a lot of fun, great setting and great company!

2.Decorating the get a way car was a lot of fun!

1. The best part about your wedding was seeing two people so much in love getting sealed for ever and ever and ever:)

-Happy October Anniversary-

Amanda and I just had Aniversary #4 ( yea ) We went to south east Texas. We went Big Thicket National Preserve very fun, and we almost walked into some "friends". ( see below ) Anyway it was a nice four day weekend and 1000 mile road trip in the Saab. ( 198k she made it! ) We stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn in Beaumont, Tx. ( Thats where we stayed on our honeymoon in St. George ) Happy #1 to Jeff and Carly!
